THIS IS A TEST!!!!
Dynamic Element Fields
Select A Blank Template in the Creative Suite:
This can be started by clicking “Creative” > “Multi-Platform” in the middle of the screen.
Choose A Catalog:
In order to use any of the Dynamic Elements in the creative suite, you will need to choose a catalog.
In the top-left, in the “Choose Catalog” drop-down, select the desired catalog that you will be adding to or editing.
Dynamic Elements Are Now Available For Use
These can be found on the left-hand side of the screen in the “Add Dynamic Catalog Fields” window.
The Dynamic Fields which automatically populate are most commonly used.
Click “Add Dynamic Field” To Add Additional Dynamic Elements
In this example we’re going to select “Sale_Price”.
Use the Search Bar To Find Specific Fields
Select Dynamic Elements From Your Quick Select
Clicking on a Dynamic Element will add this element to your design.
This new Dynamic Element will create a new layer, which can be edited in the “Layer” screen.
Dynamic Element Design Features Can Be Adjusted in The Layers Menu
In this example, we’re going to create a “price strike through” showing both the new price and the old price.
A strikethrough layer of the price will be added and adjusted.
After this, the “New” price will be added into the design to show the price change.
Adjust Dynamic Element Designs Inside The Layers Text Box
You are able to include additional words and symbols that can be added into the dynamic element by typing additional words and symbols into the layer’s text box.
Click “+ Insert Dynamic” Button In The “Layers” Menu To Add Additional Dynamic Elements
Convert Normal Text Into Dynamic Fields
This can be done by opening the text window in the “Layers” field and clicking “+ Insert Dynamic” above the normal text.
Price Formatter Feature
The Price Formatter Is A Custom Tool Used Primarily By Grocers
This can be found on the right-hand side below the catalog selection drop-down menu:
This feature uses slick design aspects to make design-friendly price formats.
It’s an easy-to-use tool designed to make designing prices for products easier and more aesthetically pleasing.
The Price Formatter Allows For Easy And Design Friendly Customization
In this example, you’re able to easily toggle between the following styles, then further adjust the graphic from there:
“Full Amount”
“Small Unit”
“Large Unit”
Click “Create” To Add Your Formatted Price Into Your Graphic
It's simply a different formatting approach, eliminating the need to create multiple layers.
Star Rating Design Feature
Star Ratings Can Be Found In The Top-Left Under The Selected Product Catalog
Star Rating Data Is Typically Input Into A Custom Label Field
This allows the designer to discern which items have “High” star ratings so that the user is able to pick and choose between “High” and “Low” star ratings.
In this exercise, we’ll choose “Price”.
In this field you can choose “Do Not Display Ratings Below” to take custom data to ensure that only high quality items are shown using the star rating.
In this window, you can also customize what the star ratings look like aesthetically.
